Ethnomusicology LITERATURE COMPARISON

What is Ethnomusicology, and what do these scholars do?  In a paper of at least five pages build and discuss a definition and description of Ethnomusicology by comparing three articles from the Journal Ethnomusicology, and the approaches that their authors utilize/represent.  Find three articles you would like to work with and highlight several quotations from each article that capture the style, substance and purpose of the author’s work.  Compare the quotations and sequence them (and citations) in preparation for the extended discussion, which you will write to connect and explain the quotations, and to build a definition and description of this activity called Ethnomusicology. You may include brief summaries of the articles but try to use the author’s own words wherever possible.
