Interview Paper Schedule a virtual visit to a school counseling department at an elementary, middle/ junior high or high school. When you arrange the visit make an appointment to spend some time with one counselor (unless you are fortunate to have access to more than one person) and ask about the following:  1. What is the relationship and alignment of the school counseling program to the school’s mission? 2. How does the counselor utilize the transformed skills of leadership, advocacy and social justice, working with diverse student populations, technology, and using data to inform practice? 3. How does the school counselor manage her/his multiple roles including counselor, consultant, coordinator and manager of services, crisis intervention specialist and any others? 4.
