Fiscal Policy

Your are introduced to fiscal policy, which can be roughly defined as changes to government taxation and/or spending to achieve a macroeconomic goal (like increasing GDP or decreasing unemployment). Your assignment for this module is write a short paper (1-2 pages) on fiscal policy in which you: summarize a specific fiscal policy engaged in by the US federal government, identify the goal of that fiscal policy (example, President X stated that the goal of this tax cut was Y), and discuss the likely impact of this fiscal policy.
